Richard Klitzberg

 Richard Klitzberg has been involved in the securities business for in excess of 49 years.  He is an expert in the placement of investment capital for institutional investors and high net worth individuals.

 He began his career in 1969 at Bache & Co.  He established and managed their Investment Management Services Division which consulted to prominent institutional investors in selecting and monitoring third-party professional investment managers.  Clients included the retirement funds of large corporations, public funds, endowments, foundations and labor unions.  He managed a staff of 14 professionals and a national clientele with invested assets exceeding $50 billion.

 In 1980, Richard formed First Investors Asset Management Co.  The company was the first to manage high yield fixed income portfolios, then an emerging asset class.  Clients included the pension funds of The World Bank, Delta Airlines, Allied Corp., Mars, Inc. and Atlantic-Richfield.

 Richard founded Klitzberg Associates, Inc. in 1982 to consult to and raise capital for specialized investment managers.  The firm has been a pioneer in “alternative investments” to include hedge funds, LBOS and bankruptcies.  Klitzberg Associates has been instrumental in arranging in excess of $9 billion in investments. In addition, Richard is the General Partner of – Select Capital Strategies, L.P. and Diversified Loan Strategies, LLC, both funds of hedge funds.

In 2004 Richard formed “Fund Solutions”, a program to promote the use of boutique sub-advisors for under-performing mutual funds.  In excess of $2.7 billion has been placed under new management.

Richard has held memberships in the American and Maryland Bar Associations, The American Pension Conference, The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the Association of Private Pension and Welfare Funds and The Association of Investment Management Sales Executives.  He is a frequent speaker at industry investment conferences.  He is a resident of Boca Raton, Florida.

Matthew Kohen focuses his practice on the representation of technology companies in emerging industries such as fintech, telecommunications, and cybersecurity. He regularly advises companies on issues related to capital formation, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.

Matthew also serves as co-leader of the firm’s Blockchain and Digital Currency Practice, and counsels companies in this space on how to structure their blockchain businesses and products into existing regulatory regimes.

Dorian Lam is a Principal and an Executive Vice President with Cornerstone Land Abstract, a market leader in providing title insurance and closing services for complex commercial real estate transactions.  Mr. Lam focuses on nurturing relationships with developers, owners, operators, investors, lenders, attorneys and other real estate companies. Prior to joining Cornerstone Land Abstract he was a Vice President with AmTrust Financial and prior to that a Management Consultant with PricewaterHouseCoopers. Mr. Lam graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Management. He is a board member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York (MBAofNY). Mr. Lam is a recipient of the Outstanding Asian American in Business Award by the Asian American Business Development Center.

Hugh R. Lamle is President of M.D. Sass Investors Services, Inc. where he has been a Partner since 1974 and
heads its fixed income and alternative investment strategies activities (which includes starting and building 31
investment management businesses).
Among his many professional accomplishments are:
 He currently serves as President and founder of M.D. Sass-Macquarie Financial Strategies
Management LLC, (FinStrat), which invests in new investment management company start ups and
buy outs.
 From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Lamle was also President, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer
of Chase & MD Sass Partners, a joint venture between The Chase Manhattan Bank and M.D. Sass
Investors Services, Inc. that was formed to manage money market and short-term bond portfolios for
Chase and Chase’s largest corporate clients. M.D. Sass sold its interest in this $20 billion joint venture
to J.P. Morgan Chase after the acquisition of J.P. Morgan by Chase.
 Mr. Lamle started Tax Advantaged Bond Strategies, a specialty municipal bond manager, which grew
to more than $7 billion in assets under management before he sold it to Eaton Vance. It became Eaton
Vance’s premier municipal bond strategy.
 Mr. Lamle was formerly Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the FINEX (a regulated
Commodities Exchange) and was on the Board of Governors at the New York Board of Trade (a
regulated Commodities Exchange) until it was acquired in 2007 by the Intercontinental Commodities
Exchange (ICE). He is now on the Board of ICE Futures US.
 Through M.D. Sass Macquarie, Mr. Lamle was active in the formation of:
– AMERRA Capital Management LLC, which finances agricultural commodity produces in Mexico,
Central and South America,provides customized commodity finance solutions to producers,
processors and distributors.
– Taurus Resources Fund LLC, which finances post exploration but early stage minerals mining
companies around the globe.
– Waterfall Asset Management LLC, a specialty credit manager focused on high yield structured
credit and real estate debt strategies.
 Mr. Lamle was a founder of Real Estate Capital Partners (RECP) in 1989 and served as its Managing
General Partner until 2005 when M.D. Sass sold its interest in this $5.5 billion real estate investor and
developer.
 He has authored numerous articles for professional publications and is a frequent lecturer at
professional conferences and universities.
 Mr. Lamle has 47 years of investment experience and has an MBA (Finance and Investments) from
Baruch College – City University of New York.
