Mrs. Hill Ritchie has worked internally for 5 single family offices and as an advisor to several prominent family offices and companies through her firm, Private Capital Investments, LLC. Her current role is Director for Nottingham Spirk Family Office, and her past roles include: Simon Group Holdings, Eden Capital, and PEX Global. She spent 7 years in Switzerland where she was a Managing Director at Palladio Alternative Research and Senior Analyst and Investment Committee Member for the Saad family office’s $3.5 billion investment portfolio. She was a Director for Wedge Alternatives, and also Hedgefund.net.

Katherine received her MBA from Fordham University and her BS in Psychology from University of Maryland. Her Board member activities include: Chair of the ACG New York Family Office Committee, Board Member of ACG NY, Family Office Advisory Board of TriState Capital, the Philanthropy and Education Committees of 100 Women in Finance, Fordham MBA Overseers Board, All Special Kids, Lighthouse Organization and Cancer101.

Jonathan Horton is the Founder and Managing Partner of NWQ. Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in international capital markets. Prior to founding NWQ, Jonathan spent time with Lehman Brothers and UBS (Paine Webber) in the US, and later established his own asset management firm in San Francisco, which he sold in 2006. During this time he developed experience in asset management, portfolio construction, derivative and cash markets trading, and credit and risk analysis. Jonathan currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of NWQ. Jonathan has served on a number of charitable boards in Australia and the United States. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia.

In 2012, after a successful career in the financial industry, Lori Hotz was recruited by Christie’s, to head up the Post War and Contemporary Art department.  As Global Managing Director of the firm’s most competitive division, Lori managed an annual P&L of $3B and 140 employees globally, executing 60 live and online auctions per year and $1B in private sales.  Lori strengthened the firm’s global capabilities and sharpened its strategic focus to deliver market-shaping results.

In just three years, Lori enhanced the department’s leading position with a 51% overall market share, rising to 61% in the $5 million-plus masterpiece market and record-breaking total sales of $1.6 billion in 2015.  Recognized for her financial strategy skills, particularly in emerging markets, Lori significantly increased the activities of the primary (private sales), secondary (auction) and e-commerce businesses in the Americas, Middle East, Asia and Europe.

In an environment where a single work of art can achieve tens of millions of dollars and bespoke collectors set the pace and direction of the market, Lori and her team of renowned art specialists and industry experts spearheaded some of the most important auction results ever recorded, breaking records with more than $1 billion sold in one week for two seasons in a row.

Lori worked in the finance industry for 20 years prior to joining Christie’s.  She began her career in Chicago as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy for Bank One and JP Morgan Chase.  She then served as Chief Operating Officer for Lehman Brothers’ alternative and traditional asset management businesses before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Barclay’s Wealth Americas’ product office where she managed a $54B asset management platform.  Prior to being recruited by Christies, she held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Lazard Wealth Management.  Lori received a BA from the University of Toronto, and both a master’s degree in Environmental Studies and an MBA from Yale

 

 


Rahman “Rock” Irvin

Rock Irvin is the President and CEO of Dealer 121 and Jacobs Marketing Group, providers of an integrated marketing intelligence and execution platform that enables small and medium sized automobile dealerships to deliver targeted marketing campaigns to their customers through digital and direct mail channels. Most recently, Rock was with NextGen Growth Partners, a private investment firm based in Chicago focused on investing in search fund opportunities.

Before joining NGP, Rock was the Head of Product for Vista Intelligence Group, the data and intelligence organization of Vista Equity Partners. Rock led all product efforts for using data and leading-edge technology to create new intelligence-driven products that solve problems for new and existing clients of companies in the Vista portfolio.

Before joining Vista, Rock co-founded the Data Products Team at Cars.com, organically growing the company’s data revenues by 20x. Rock managed products generating over $130M by the end of his tenure.  Before and during his MBA studies, Rock was an entrepreneur, a private equity associate at ShoreCap Management and an investment strategist at Northern Trust.  Rock received his BBA from Howard University and his MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Ricardo N. Jackman has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in transactional, business, and corporate matters. He is particularly well known for his skill in contract negotiation in the sports and entertainment sectors, having successfully negotiated contracts and business deals worth more than $50 million.

Ricardo has worked with professional athletes and entertainers for decades, handling all of their legal needs and acting as a trusted advisor and dealmaker. His experience includes production deals—both musical and TV or film—as well as recording contracts; executive producer and producer credits; marketing and endorsement deals; and agreements involving acting, modeling, and appearances.

His work for clients ranges from the drafting and review of contracts and contractual interpretation to business establishment, corporate governance and trademark issues. A team player, Ricardo understands how to collaborate effectively with other members of a client’s team, including CPAs, wealth managers, insurance agents and realtor. In addition to supporting their careers as athletes and entertainers, Ricardo provides business counsel and forward-thinking strategies to prepare clients for their post-career lives.

Ricardo is active with both the American Bar Association and Maryland State Bar Association Sports and Entertainment Sections. With a personal sense of responsibility to give back to the community, he is a member of the Alfred Street Baptist Church.
