Holly Sherratt has more than 20 years of fine art experience and has worked in the auction industry for more than a decade. As a well-regarded Modern and Contemporary Art specialist, she has directed the sales of hundreds of important collections nationwide.

She was the founding Director of Made in California Art at a major auction house and was instrumental in establishing world record prices for dozens of artists. She was also head of museum programs at the world’s largest art online retailer, managing strategic partnerships with museums such as MoMA, British Museum, and the de Young. With vast auction, business development, and non-profit experience, she has built relationships with collectors, arts organizations, and fiduciaries around the world.

She received her BA in Art History from UCLA and MA in Visual Studies (Art History and Critical Theory) from UCI. She trained at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Laguna Art Museum. Holly also completed coursework at Loyola Law School and received the distinguished American Jurisprudence Awards for both legal writing and criminal law before transferring to graduate school.

She is an active member of the San Francisco arts community. She served on the board of directors of Contemporary Extension at the SFMOMA and enjoys lecturing at local universities and arts organizations.

Justin Shigemi

Justin Shigemi’s practice focuses on the representation of investment advisers, broker-dealers, private funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds and offshore funds, and institutional investors, including family offices. Mr. Shigemi advises as to all aspects of the fund structuring and formation process, preparation and review of fund offering documents and marketing materials, SEC and state investment adviser registration, CFTC commodity pool operator and commodity trading advisor registration, FINRA and NFA membership and other licensing matters, preparation and negotiation of marketing/introduction agreements, the development and implementation of compliance programs and procedures and ongoing compliance matters. Mr. Shigemi’s practice has also begun to focus on the fintech industry, including robo-advisers, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and ICOs.

Mr. Shigemi received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2005, where he was the recipient of the Larry Fleisher Memorial Foundation Prize for extraordinary achievement in the area of Sports and Entertainment Law. He received a B.A., with Honors, from Yale University in 1998. Mr. Shigemi is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and New York.


Enio Shinohara, WE Capital US

Enio Shinohara is a managing partner at WE Capital NYC where he is responsible for asset allocation and international managed accounts for Brazilian families, allocating capital across asset classes and geographies with particular focus on alternative investments (hedge funds, private credit, private equity/venture capital and real estate).

Previously, he had been managing director, partner and head of portfolio solutions at BTG Pactual (2009-2019), a partner and portfolio manager at Claritas Investments (2005-2009) where he focused on emerging markets and niche strategies in developed markets, a principal partner at GFIA pte (2004-2005), and a portfolio manager at GP Investimentos (2000-2002)

He attended the Harvard Business School Executive Program and received his MBA in finance and business strategy from INSEAD. He received his BBA in business administration from EAESP-FGV (Fundaçao Getúlio Vargas) in São Paulo, Brazil.

 


Jane Silfen, Mayfair Advisors

Jane Silfen is the founder of Mayfair Advisors LLC, which advises clients on sustainability and clean technology investment opportunities. She was previously a Vice President at Encourage Capital, and began her career in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.


Phil Simotas, Row Asset Management

As COO, Mr. Simotas oversees several functions which include managing the business development, product development and marketing processes as well as the general operations of the company.

Prior to joining ROW, Philip Simotas was one of the principals of FX Concepts, where over a 20 year period spanning from 1993 to 2013, he built one of the premier investment management firms specializing in foreign currency and global fixed income management. At its peak in 2008, FX Concepts managed about $14 billion in assets. While as President of the firm, he oversaw all aspects of the company’s day to day operations, his primary areas of focus and expertise included portfolio and risk management, research and product development, as well as business development and marketing.

Overall, his experience in currency and derivatives trading spans almost 30 years having begun his career as a currency trader for Dean Witter in 1986. Mr. Simotas is a cum laude graduate of Yale University with a degree in Economics.
