Robert Wedeking, chief investment officer at Geller Family Office Services, sets the strategic direction that guides all investment planning and management decisions for clients. He is responsible for all investment matters including asset allocation, risk management and the selection and monitoring of investment managers. He chairs the firm’s investment committee as well as the investment advisory committee.
He brings extensive experience investing in a wide variety of hedge fund, private equity and traditional investment vehicles, and has deep expertise in the areas of asset allocation, portfolio structuring, manager due diligence and risk management.
Prior to joining Geller & Company, he worked at Caxton Associates LP for more than 21 years serving as director for alternative investments and as portfolio manager for a $1.1 billion, multi-strategy fund-of-funds. He was also responsible for sourcing and evaluating a broad spectrum of investment opportunities and creating customized portfolios across all asset classes.
Wedeking received a BA in accounting and finance from Hartwick College and is a CFA® Charterholder. He is a member of the Economic Club of New York and the New York Society of Security Analysts. He is an active member of the investment committee at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. and serves on the investment committee of the Princeton Healthcare System in Princeton, NJ.
